Change of plans at the last minute. We won’t end our travels in Romania by trekking in Retzeat natural park, as we originally planned. The weather doesn’t look good. We are going to Timisioara instead.

Tribute to Top Gear
OK I have to admit it I am a fan of the trio and am sad to see it go, but am interested to see Chris Evans take and who comes along with him.
West, south, north….who knows
Looking at the map last night we realised maybe our direction was a little bit off. The coastal road would have been much quicker, but still we are in no hurry and it gives us the opportunity to drive through some more mountain scenery.

We booked our ferry while on the Isole Eolie, we are leaving Italia in three days, but first Matera.
No more TripAdvisor for us
For a while now we have been writing reviews on Tripadvisor, but we have now stopped and asked Tripadvisor to remove all of our reviews.
We have done this because we recently realised that our tally of reviews had depleted from 140 to 110, and our helpful votes from 40 to 30. There had been no explanation from Tripadvisor as to why, so we asked them.
Their response was that they must have been deleted by one of their automatic filters as they were in contravention of the guidelines. We asked them to be more specific and they said they could not.
We appreciate the need for guidelines however when we have looked through them we can see at no point do we contravene them.
It seems to us a waste of our time and those reading our reviews if they have been arbitrarily censored and therefore we have decided our time is better spent elsewhere.
